Caden Breeding is HOME!

He is home! Long story, I’ll share it in the next e-mail and it was late tonight, 10 pm when we got home, but we are all under one roof tonight!

We have doctor appointments tomorrow and Friday (again, will explain in the next message), so we are asking for no visitors right now at the house, we want to keep Caden health, since he was early (and is a week old today? wow?!)

Keep those prayers going for him and for mom (still having some health issues, yes, details to come), and for dad in his juggling act. 🙂

Updates and NEW Photos

Got some good news and some new photos!

I know it has been a couple of days, but things are going well… here is a quick update!

Caden is:
No longer in an incubator (now in an open crib)
No longer on IV (taking a full bottle and wanting more!)
No longer getting a sun tan (a little Jaundice let him spend a day in some cool shades and under some blue lights (check out June 9th’s photo)
No longer below his birth weight of 5 lbs, 4 oz (he was 5 lbs, 5 oz today!)

The only wires he is plugged into are to monitor his heart rate and respiration rate (which he’ll stay hooked up to until he leaves). We even got to hold him unplugged today, so Caden went wireless (at least for a short time!)

I’ve gotten to feed him a couple of bottles, and Jen has gotten to feed him with a bottle and, well that other way also.

I’ve gotten to change his diaper twice (oh boy!) and Jen only once (whatsup with that?)

So the common question is, “When is Caden coming home?” We still don’t have a definite date, but we have been told it could be in a few days!

Ok, now on to what you really want… PHOTOS! I’ve updated the photos of him and organized them by date, so here is the most recent link: http://www.nealbreeding.com/cadenphotos.php

Thanks for all them prayers! Keep them coming!

Enjoy the photos!

More Updates!

Updates! Updates! Updates! Updates! Updates!

Good Updates! Good Updates! Good Updates! Good Updates!

1) Jennifer was discharged today! A day early!

2) Jennifer and I got to go to Monroe and she got to hold the baby for the first time! She is doing much better now (emotionally for sure) and is glad to be home.

3) He has a name (Besides, Baby-X, the X-ster, etc)… it is Caden Charles Breeding!

4) Photos are on-line! I don’t have the ones of Mom and Caden yet, I promise to get he uploaded soon! The ones on-line are at:
http://www.nealbreeding.com/photos/12/

5) Details! Many have ask for details and with Jen so sick with her BP before hand, and Caden on his way to Monroe and no internet access at the hospital there was no good way to do it. 🙂

He was 5 lbs, 4 oz, and 18 1/4 inches long. He was born on June 6, 2007 at 9:40 pm. He has a little hair and is as cute as me. 🙂

Jennifer was 37 weeks and a day, so he was about 3 weeks early. I’ll tell the story in a later e-mail of the events of the day, they are more humorous now looking back, but too long to tell right now.

For those out-of-towners, Monroe is about 30 minutes away from where we live, but it is all interstate, so we make good time.

Most of the grandparents are here, Jen’s parents and my mom, my dad is going to wait until thing calm down, but he lives the closest.

Thanks for all the prayers, they are working and we hope to bring Caden home very soon (no ETA yet though).

Feel free to send any more questions, and I’ll respond to them as I have time, which should be a little more now that I’m home.

He is HERE!

If you haven’t heard by now, Baby-X is HERE (and still nameless), long story, Jen is doing well, he is doing better, he is now in a NICU in Monroe where they specialize in any potential problems he might have…

I promise to get some pictures on-line when things calm down. Jen had a C-section so she is pretty tired, we are asking for visits to be held until we get home, thanks guys, and thanks for the prayers…

My mom and I just got back from Monroe and he is doing really well and the Doc was real positive about his condition…

I’ll be in touch soon!
